Biography

Brandenburg and Beyond is a New England based Neo-Baroque Ensemble and a 501C non-profit. Our musicians perform with regional orchestras and hold teaching positions at local Music Schools and Universities. Our performances range from traditional Baroque masterworks to new compositions with hints of jazz, folk, and modern influences. Our harpsichordist is our resident composer, writing brilliant and innovative new works for each season. We’ve performed on several concert series, including the Silver Center for the Arts in Plymouth, NH, the Faculty Performance Series for the Manchester Community Music School, the Portsmouth Symphony Family Matinee Series at St. John’s Episcopal Church and at Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club. Our fourth season extends our performances to York, Maine, the Keisler Concert Series at St. Paul’s, and St. Ignatius in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
